On Sunday 14 January from 11 AM to 5 PM the Nevada City Odd Fellows will help you focus and set your intentions for 2024


You can come for all or a portion of the day. Bring anything you want on your vision board. Poster board, scissors and glue will be provided.

A heart donation will be gratefully accepted. $10 to $20 suggested.

On Thursday January 4 from 5 to 7 PM the Seven Stars Gallery and Nevada County Arts Council host a Creatives Meet Up

Come mingle with the Arts Council and some Odd Fellows. Learn about exciting events on the horizon for the Arts Council and Seven Stars. Your opportunity to share your needs and vision s they relate to the arts. Beverages and snacks provided. The event is free.

On Friday December 22 the Nevada City Odd Fellows present a Winter Solstice Ritual Concert with music by Brightside Blue in the Odd Fellows Hall

Featuring a collaborative Altar, a spiral dance, community connection and song and space to reflect and dream.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, ritual begins at 7:00

$15 donation.

ON Wednesday 13 December from 5 to 7 PM (during Victorian Christmas) the Seven Stars Gallery offers a Community Call to Gather in Vigil for Peace

The Seven Stars Gallery space will be open for folks to drop by during Victorian Christmas. There will be an altar and hot cider, and people will be invited to write their intention on a strip of paper that we will then hang on the Christmas tree in town.

Now is a time to pause and tend our hearts with grace and reverent care.

Our collective intent to live happy, healthy & whole is universal.

Come together and hold a vision for peace in your being~

On December 10 from 5 to 7 PM the Seven Stars Gallery presents Angelo Presicci and Tom Reddock reading from and signing their books

In Fighting the Bad War, Angelo Presicci describes how the Vietnam War changed forever the lives of those who lived through it, in-country and far from it.

In Suicide by Prayer and Other Stories Tom Reddock portrays the life of a boy growing into manhood from Sacramento to Japan to San Francisco in the 1950s and ’60s.
