The Nevada City, California Odd Fellows Hall is a available to rent for ongoing (weekly or monthly) classes or for a one time event be it a concert, wedding, art event, classes, performance, dance happening, reunion or whatever is your fancy! Our hall is located in the heart of downtown Nevada City, it is an ideal location for accessibility. With two entrances, one from Broad St. (the main street in Nevada City) and one from the rear on Spring St. The historic hall is full of character and ambiance, and readily lends itself to being decorated and decked out to your specific needs.
The hall can comfortably and safely accommodate 180 people and includes the use of 175 foldable chairs and benches along with 10 six foot rectangular tables and 10 four ft. round tables. There is a kitchen on site which is available for use (with conditions) with any rental.
It is a vintage 1920’s beautiful large hall with high ceilings, polished oak floors and vaulted wooden ceilings with fans. The hall has recently been upgraded with a state-of-the-art heating/cooling system that includes an IWave COVID filtration system in the main hall. New dance floor, new improved and larger stage, new PA System and Zoom Audio Mixer are available to rent.
There is a art deco mobile rolling bar for elegant bar service, with 2 refrigerators. It can be full service bar!
There is an elevated stage that is 28 feet wide and 8 feet deep set 2.5 feet above the main floor. There are electrical outlets and some stage lighting. We can work with you for your stage plot and sound needs.
We have a full PA System including powered stage monitors, mixer. We have a full DMX stage lighting sytem installed. There is a large screen for video presentations and movies with ceiling mounted projector. Ask our rental staff for more information on equipment that we can provide for your next event.
We do not provide a sound engineer or lighting engineer. We can assist in finding one for you and will assist in staging equipment.
Guest WiFi is available.
The hall is on the second story and there are stairs for ingress and egress located from both the Broad St. and Spring St. entrance. There is a single chair lift at the Spring St. entrance that can accommodate those with physical limitations but there is not a lift for wheelchairs at this time. There are two bathrooms.

It is well known that Nevada City is home to many good restaurants and an abundance of lodging and other venues all within easy walking distance from the hall. The town is lively and offers many exciting public events throughout the year. You will want to coordinate your event with any events that might be occurring in town.
